FIRE 208 - INTRO TO THE FIRE ACADEMY

 

Class Information: FIRE 208 Registration

Enrollment for FIRE 208 is on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, you must have a valid SRJC student ID and be ready to enroll for the semester in which you plan to take the class.

Please upload the following required forms:

  1. Medical Waiver– signed and stamped by a physician
  2. Code of Conduct– signed by the student
  3. SRJC Voluntary Liability Waiver – signed by the student

Once your forms are submitted and approved, you will be registered in the class. Please note that registrations are processed in the order they are received, so we strongly encourage you to submit them as soon as possible.

Class Capacity: 37 students
Schedule: Two consecutive weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 08:00–17:00
Important: No add codes or walk-ins are permitted.

Uniform Requirements:
Students must have two uniforms:

  1. Daily Uniform
    • Navy or black work pants
    • Navy or black button-down shirt or polo
    • Work boots or closed-toe shoes
    • No visible brand logos (e.g., Nike, Puma, etc.)
  2. Physical Training (PT) Uniform
    • Navy or black t-shirt
    • Navy or black shorts
    • Tennis shoes
    • Minimal or no branding preferred
